A GENERATION IN DANGER
by Marco Turco
Documentary.
In the 70s Italy is drowning in heroin. Carlo Rivolta, one the most perceptive journalists of his generation, is among the first to write of this phenomenon from the columns of a new newspaper “Repubblica”. He reads into the dynamics regulating the traffic. He puts the rising use of this new drug in relation to the fall of the collective movements born after the ’68. He is the voice of a free-falling generation. But his awareness doesn’t spare him.
